Name and case screens
JustWare’s user-friendly design allows you to view all of your case or name information on one screen, rather than having to navigate between numerous screens.
Each name screen can contain family details, physical identifiers, alerts, age, grade, substance abuse history, former offenses, and much more. You can track unlimited amounts and types of contact information, family or other key relationships, identification numbers, events, notes, files, tasks, and more.
JustWare will also track case information and notes for all current and past cases in which your clients have been involved. JustWare’s case screens track all court conditions/sentencing (e.g., random drug/alcohol testing, electronic monitoring, community service), details about the crime and court case, intoxicants/drugs, treatments, referral to programs, service providers, contact and visitors with the offender, locations, and much more. You can also link other closely related cases, even if none of the clients or other key people is the same within the cases. Since you define your case summary screens, they can display virtually anything for summary, including treatment attendance, drug test results, financial obligations, booking photos, and much more. These summaries can be printed or exported to other programs.
JustWare will visually alert you and your staff of any important information regarding any of your people or cases. You can set up an unlimited number of attributes (e.g., “dangerous environment,” “needs interpreter,” “prior offenses,” and more) and specify which of them should appear as a pop-up when officers or staff open a case.
JustWare’s screens are set up to track the information frequently requested by other juvenile detention agencies. In order to accommodate your unique differences, however, JustWare is extremely flexible, enabling you to rename any table or field names to track alternate information.
Enter-it-once efficiency
JustWare’s central name/party table reduces duplicate entry by allowing you to enter the information once and then reference and link that information to events, documents and forms, correspondence entries, bookings, incidents, and more. Each person, organization, or agency with which your office or officers interact may have various roles, including offender, alias, parent, family member, victim, public defender, law enforcement officer, or any combination.
Dashboards
JustWare “dashboards” provide one of the most innovative case management benefits: agency-defined and personalized information for officers and staff on one screen. You can have several different dashboards created and customized based on user, location, division, staff type, and team/unit.
The key reporting areas for your agency are automatically displayed on your JustWare dashboards, providing users with a powerful messaging center. Key displays—including My Active Cases, My Tasks, My Calendar, My New Cases, and much more—are graphically displayed and hyperlinked for easy viewing and access.
Virtual filing cabinet
You can store all offender- and booking-related files in JustWare’s integrated electronic document management system (EDMS), or “virtual filing cabinet.” You can store any type of file in JustWare’s virtual filing cabinet, including images, audio, video, email, templates, mugshot, and other files. You can also scan files directly into JustWare’s virtual filing cabinet and afterward search on content inside the documents. Files stored in JustWare’s virtual filing cabinet are accessible from any computer through JustWare.
Web-based searching
JustWare’s powerful indexing and web-style searching quickly locate system-wide case and party information. With soundex searching, you can search using court, booking and incident numbers, conditions of the court, partial name information, phone numbers and addresses, and much more, to return a list of sorted, ranked, and hyperlinked results. Our web-style design retrieves results quickly from all JustWare tables, allowing for complex searches such as “Jones, Aggravated Assault, Drug Testing,” which allows detention officer and staff to search on anything to find booking and party information.
