Recognizing the sensitive nature of your office, JustWare provides extensive security tools to keep your data secure, including role-based or user-based security, as well as data/code partitioning and auditing.

Role-based security

JustWare provides default security groups that you can modify or create your own security groups (such as general user, super user, financial user, view only user, and administrator). Users will only see the screens, fields, and functionality relevant to them. You may define user privileges for each user and/or security group as view-only or to include a combination of the abilities to insert, update, and delete.

Data access can also be restricted by data type (such as case and name/party types) down to the field level. The highest level of web security and authentication allows for authorized, protected, full web access.

Code partitioning

JustWare’s code partitioning filters display codes according to predecessor codes. For example, when intake staff select a case type of “Criminal – Assault With Weapon”, they would only see codes, involvement types, events, event statuses, and documents specific to a “Criminal – Assault With Weapon” case type in that jurisdiction. Code partitioning is enabled throughout JustWare, eliminating data entry error and accelerating data entry.

JustWare’s sophisticated security model lets you ensure strict control over who accesses juvenile or other case profiles, name records, and sensitive notes, ensuring information is available only on a need-to-know basis. Partitioning tools manage your cases with the utmost security for juvenile cases.

Auditing

JustWare’s powerful logging and auditing functionality gives administrators a granular view of what data is being edited, viewed, deleted, and added by system users. JustWare’s logging tables track the dates and times of modifications, and maintain a record of all historical data. This is a great tool for administrative auditing reports and for ensuring the security of your data.
