Business rules

Using JustWare’s Business Rules Manager, you can automate much of your workflow, saving time and ensuring no tasks are postponed or forgotten. JustWare’s Business Rules Manager allows case statuses, events, reports, and notifications to be linked to and triggered by each other and timed events. JustWare processes your different categories and types of cases uniquely, enabling you to use JustWare equally well for all types of tasks and cases.

For example, you could set it such that:

• Whenever an attorney is appointed on a case, the case opens, a Notice of Appearance is generated for filing with the court, and a letter is generated for the client setting up an initial appointment with his or her attorney.

• If the client fails to appear in court, a letter is sent to the client at all of his/her known addresses, advising them of the missed hearing, date of the new hearing, and possible consequences of any additional missed hearings.

• Once an appearance is made and a plea of “not guilty” is entered, a request for investigation is sent to the investigator and a request for discovery is sent to the prosecutors.

 

Reports

The data in your case management system is one of the most valuable resources in your office. It should outlast all administrators and employees. JustWare enables you to easily access and manipulate any of your historical data. JustWare’s robust reporting tools allow you to query, display, and print any agency, state, local, or federal statistical requirements. JustWare comes with dozens of commonly requested system reports that help you and your staff extract critical data from JustWare. Automated document generation

JustWare includes document automation functionality that automatically generates multi-page documents, multi-page subpoenas, batch documents, simple letters, and other frequently used documents—using your agency’s templates. These documents automatically populate with the information stored in JustWare, reducing data entry time and error, and are automatically saved for future access in JustWare’s virtual filing cabinet.

JustWare’s document automation works with JustWare’s Business Rules Manager to automatically generate and print any of your documents and forms at a certain time or after a specific event. Automated documents and forms can be triggered by calendar entries, case status changes, and more.

 

Electronic & digital signatures

JustWare’s powerful capabilities enable you to obtain digital and electronic signatures for your staff and clients/offenders, eliminating paper and extra steps.

 

Hot keys & shortcuts
